Earthquake Remembrance at Kobe Bell
The SKSCA will hold its annual Kobe Earthquake
Remembrance Ceremony at the Kobe Bell on Tuesday,
January 16, 2007. You are invited to meet at the
Kobe Bell on the Seattle Center grounds (north
of the International Fountain and south of the
Opera House) at 12:15 p.m. The ceremony will begin
with remarks at 12:30 p.m. and will conclude with
a moment of silence and the ringing of the Kobe
Bell at 12:46 pm, which corresponds to the minute
of silence and ceremonies taking place in Kobe
in the early morning of the 17th. |
